Yes! Scratches that only affect the clear coat layer can often be polished and buffed out without any paint. These are the most minor scratches — if you run your fingernail across it and don't feel the groove, it may be buffable. If the scratch goes deeper into the color coat or primer, paint is required.

Scratches caused by vandalism (like a key scratch) are covered under comprehensive insurance, subject to your deductible. Scratches from a parking lot collision or hit-and-run may be covered under collision or uninsured motorist coverage. We help you determine if filing a claim makes sense given your deductible.

Minor clear coat polishing can be done same day in 1–2 hours. Touch-up paint for small scratches takes 1 day (paint needs to cure). Full panel repaints for deep scratches or large areas typically take 2–4 business days. We'll give you a timeline during your free appointment.
